"My Jeans" - What is this world coming to?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DwT_2QQU64&feature=related

Since Rebbecca Black's "Friday" became such a popular song on YouTube, people have been creating all kinds of parodies and spins off on it. "My Jeans" by Jenna Rose is a song about her jeans. It is very similar to Rebbecca Black's song in the style of the song and the layout of the music video.

The music video is a girl singing about waking up and not knowing what to wear. She turns her TV on and she sees an ad for new designer jeans that she just bought at the mall. She talks about all of the Disney Channel Stars wearing her jeans. She is shocked and excited about the fact that everyone is wearing the jeans just like her.

I think it is so bizarre that people think it is necessary to write and sing songs about wearing jeans and how it is almost Friday. What is this world coming to?

I am really writing this because of how YouTube is such a great website that is growing and producing all kinds of interesting things. People are becoming famous from what they posted on YouTube. Also what is so interesting is that when you search a certain video, you will get the real video but then right under it are usually tons of videos mimicking or mocking or saying how great that one video is. YouTube is a large advertisement for a lot of people.

I congratulate YouTube for what they are doing. Although there are many stupid videos out there that make me think, "why are these people wasting there time," there are also many videos that showcase talent, beauty, and potential fame.

  1. I couldn't agree with you more. Did you also see that they did a rip-off of the song on American Idol? I was like ... what??

By the way, your hot link doesn't work. You can still edit this post even after it's published.
